Europarties and foundations: thought and action after the Conference on the Future of Europe

The webinar Europarties and foundations: thought and action after the Conference on the Future of Europe took place on Tuesday 31 May 2024, as part of the Jean Monnet EDCSEU Module  “Europarties, democracy and civil society in the EU” society in the EU).

The module is created with the support of Cesue and Euractiv Italia (https://euractiv.it/), an independent pan-European media specialized in EU policies, which aims to spark and fuel political debates between the different components of society European Union – governments, businesses, civil society – and to offer daily information on the EU.

The webinar is the last meeting at the end of the free course and open not only to University students but to students and teachers of upper secondary schools and to all interested parties.

The Jean Monnet Module “Europarties, democracy and civil society in the European Union”

The teaching module intends to enrich the educational offer of Link Campus University, which already includes a series of economic, legal and historical courses on the European Union, strengthening European studies on the historical-political side through the connection with the History of Politics course Europeans. The path offers an in-depth analysis of political parties at a European level in their articulations and differentiations, comparing ideas, programs and activities, and of political and social actors: from pro-European and federalist movements to Eurosceptic ones, then focusing on the large and varied network of associations and organizations of interests and civil society active in the European Union both in interaction with the European institutions and in the political debate and in the world of communication.
